Lion on the Wall is about a small magical cafe/bar in Seoul (Hongdae), a kind of warm refuge for folks who feel overwhelmed by the speed and homogeinity of Seoul. South Korea was developed extremely quickly, and as a result everything is still in a constant state of change. Korean's think it's normal, but to a foreigner it seems like things are happening at least 10 times faster than is humanly possible. The first lines of the song are "they owned a small bar on a street where the names always change". Ironically and sadly this cafe/bar was pushed out of Hongdae due to rent-increases in the area 3 days after I took the pictures for the post-card. I didn't know it was coming until I was there taking the pictures.
